Beating The Winter Blues

During the winter months I use my peels, retinals, and brightening product to help get rid of the sun damage I've accumulated over the years (why did I think a tanning member was good a good idea as a teenager...).  But all this lightening leaves my olive skin looking like the ghost of the Jolly Green Giant.  With all the layers of products I apply, self tanner doesn't exactly sink in over top.  When I saw the Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster, I was like oh yes, this is the one.  Now back in 2004 I started working for Clarins, and I was already the self tanning King, Clarins self tanner is some of the best. A little science on self tanner: All self tanners use DHA (dihydroxyacetone) a sugar from beets that oxidizes on the skin giving you colour.  Now Clarins was the first to discover and use Erythrulose, a sugar from raspberries, that is used in combination with DHA and counteracted its orange shade, developing a more natural and longer lasting shade.

So back to the Booster.  This product is my new favorite.  Whenever my skin is looking a bit too pale, I add 3 drops into my moisturizer, apply like normal, wash my hands, and within a few hours I have a natural sun kissed effect.  I use it a few times a week, and multiple days in a row if I want darker colour.  Great for all skin types, all ages and can be used morning or night. 5/5 Stars $30 also available for body (which I haven't tried yet) $45.
